How to put a cherry on a cake – you have a successful expo and then walk away with the Most Green Product award.
That is exactly what happened at the Baba Indaba, held in Cape Town from 1 to 3 August 2014, where Beautiful Earth showcased its Baby Care range. As the first South African brand to achieve Natural Certification, the Baby Care range drew interest from consumers as well as retailers. It also caught the attention of the expo organisers who decided that Beautiful Earth best represent their Most Green Product criteria.
“We are very excited about the award. Being green is about so much more than just the product or the packaging and it is gratifying to be acknowledged for our efforts”, said Ciska Venter, General Manager.
Being environmentally friendly (green) is just one of the important aspects defining the Beautiful Earth brand, it is also certified natural and cruelty free. Said Ciska: “The real value of the brand to the consumer lies in the fact that we offer a complete head-to-toe solution that ticks all three crucial boxes. That is what discerning consumers expect”.
