Do your products contain synthetic fragrances?

No, our products are fragranced exclusively withpure essential oils. We do not use any synthetic fragrances, ensuring that every scent is natural, therapeutic, and safe for your skin.

Do your products contain synthetic colorants?

No, our products do not contain any synthetic colorants or dyes. We believe in keeping our formulations as natural and pure as possible, so any color you see comes naturally from the ingredients themselves, without artificial additives.

Do the products have an expiry date?

Yes, all Beautiful Earth products have an expiry date. Each formulation undergoes stability and microbial challenge testing to ensure safety, quality, and shelf life. While our products are developed to be stable for 24 months, we apply a 25% safety reduction, resulting in an official shelf life of 18 months.

Every product is clearly marked with a batch number and expiry date.

In addition, you’ll find a PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on each product’s packaging. This symbol (an open jar icon with a number and the letter ‘M’) indicates how long the product can be safely used after opening. For Beautiful Earth products, the ‘6M’ symbol means the product should be used within 6 months of opening, provided it is still within the expiry date.

How can I ensure that the products I have purchased last as long as they should?

To get the most out of your Beautiful Earth products and ensure they stay fresh and effective, it’s important to protect them from contamination and improper storage. Here are a few helpful tips:

  • Store in a cool, dry place, ideally below 25°C. Some products can even be kept in the fridge.
  • Avoid getting water into jars or bottles, especially in the shower, as water can introduce bacteria and compromise the formula.
  • Use clean, dry hands or a spatula when scooping product out of a jar to minimize contamination.
  • Keep products out of direct sunlight, which can cause natural ingredients and essential oils to degrade over time.
  • Close lids tightly after use to preserve freshness and prevent air exposure.

By following these tips, you’ll help your products maintain their integrity and performance throughout their intended shelf life.

Are your products 100% natural?

Absolutely! At Beautiful Earth, we adhere to the strict guidelines set by the Natural Products Association (NPA) to ensure our products are truly natural. We carefully select 100% natural, plant-based ingredients—including essential oils, botanical extracts, and nourishing butters—to create effective, safe, and environmentally friendly formulations.

We steer clear of synthetic fragrances, dyes, parabens, sulfates, and harmful chemicals, so you can trust that our products deliver pure, wholesome care.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

Yes, absolutely! At Beautiful Earth, environmental responsibility is at the heart of everything we do and is a low-risk operation in terms of its impact on the environment. We strive to minimize our carbon footprint and overall impact on the environment through our Environment Management System (EMS) and will continue to explore solutions to further improve this. We have implemented the following solutions:

– We source organic or wildcrafted ingredients as far as possible;
– Paper use is minimized by using electronic instead of hard copies. Where paper use is inevitable, including business cards and brochures, recycled paper is procured and paper waste is either re-used or recycled;
– The preferred non-glass material for packaging is HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) since it is 100% recyclable. Waste HDPE containers are recycled;
– Lighting is done through a solar system and otherwise in an energy efficient manner using  or LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes);
– Product content is highly biodegradable and sewer system friendly.
